Today is cold and icy, but it is warm inside as our fireplace puts out a glow of warmth in our home. My daughter brought my grandson over very early this morning before she went to school and I will take him to the babysitters later on this morning. This was all in vain as school was postponed two hours later because of the icy roads. But I get to play with my sweet pea and this just makes my day (although I am completely exhausted when he leaves).
My 2 1/2 year old grandson has been obsessed with trains for the last year. My husband and I have showered him with toy trains, train books, train videos...but now he has a change of heart.
