I'm having to say an extra prayer this morning for my grandson. Last week there was an accident at his house involving a door and a chair. Somehow the chair fell backwards and closed the door on my 2 1/2 year old grandsons finger taking a small chunk with it. He was rushed to the emergency room where they took x-rays and bandaged his tiny finger. The doctor said it should grow back and be normal by the time he was a teenager.
Also, two days before, my daughter was visiting a neighbor and Paul began exploring the new surroundings. He pushed open an unsuspecting door and fell down a flight of stairs. This caused a black eye and several bruises.
If that wasn't enough I was taking him to the babysitters this morning and another mishap occurred. I opened the car door for him to climb in and get into his carseat. Before I knew it he had run into the car door causing a goose egg size bump on his head.
I hope you see why I am saying a few prayers to spare my grandson from any more pain and keep him safe throughout his days.
